Romelu Lukaku scores first Man Utd goal in friendly against Real Salt Lake

Romelu Lukaku scored his first Manchester United objective as Jose Mourinho’s side defeated Real Salt Lake 2-1 out of a blazing cordial in Utah. The Belgian, 24, who marked from Everton for £75m, got the victory seven minutes before half-time to add to Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s equaliser after United had fallen behind on 20 minutes.

Joined at that point lost Juan Mata to damage and Antonio Valencia to a red card. “[Lukaku’s goal] is pleasant for him yet not critical for me,” said Mourinho. “I disclosed to him I cherish what he does. He helps, he moves. He holds the ball well. I like all that he does.”
Mata limped off after an overwhelming test from Sebastian Saucedo yet is required to be out of activity for seven days at most. Valencia was then sent off for a handle on Saucedo, ref Allen Chapman addressing Mourinho before belatedly expelling the Ecuadorian. “The deferral was on account of the arbitrator requesting that I change the players and I didn’t on the grounds that I don’t concur with the card,” included the Old Trafford manager.
“Saucedo was truly forceful with what happened to Mata and some different activities where he was somewhat risky. It’s pre-season so no issue – it’s a decent ordeal.”
