Jamie Dornan responds to Ian Somerhalder replacing him in movie

There have been reports of Jamie Dornan leaving the “Fifty Shades of Grey” franchise and Ian Somerhalder replacing him.

Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel, Dornan spoke on Somerhalder reportedly replacing him.

“That would be really hard for them to do, considering we shot both of the movies,” he said.“That’s an expensive mistake, I’ll put it that way. But good luck to him – he’ll be great!” he added.

Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are set to return as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in “Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shades Freed,” which is is based on the worldwide bestselling of same name. 
The upcoming sequel which debuts on February 10, 2017,  also stars Academy Award winner Marcia Gay Harden, Jennifer Ehle, Luke Grimes, Rita Ora, Victor Rasuk, Eloise Mumford and Max Martini, who are joined by Oscar winner Kim Basinger, Hugh Dancy, Bella Heathcote and Eric Johnson.

“Fifty Shades Darker” is directed by James Foley, and produced by Michael De Luca, Dana Brunetti and Marcus Viscidi, alongside E L James, who wrote the blockbuster series.
The screenplay is by Niall Leonard, based on the book by James. “Fifty Shades of Grey” was a box office hit, grossing over $571 million worldwide.
“Fifty Shades Darker” hits theaters on February 10, 2017, while “Fifty Shades Freed” will debut February 9, 2018.
