FG: Nigerian first ICT college in progress

The Federal government says it arrangements to build up an Information Communication Technology University in Nigeria. The Minister of Communications, Adebayo Shittu, today introduced an execution advisory group that would work towards building up the organisation. As indicated by Adebayo, the ICT college is being built up so Nigerians can keep pace with the quickly changing mechanical progression in the worldwide Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry,

He went ahead to express that the proposed Institution would offer an assortment of projects gone for giving proficient learning and ability required for a specific vocation in the field of Telecommunications, Internet of things, Cyber Security, Robotics, Embedded Systems, Computer Forensics, Digital Media and Entertainment Technology.

As indicated by him, “The proposed Institution has been supported by the Nigerian government, worldwide pioneers in the ICT business, for example, Cisco, Facebook, Huawei, D – joins, Lenovo, Samsung, Apple, Siemens, Intel, Motorola, Ericsson, Dell, HP, IBM, MTN and the Globacom”.
