Abba Kyari invites protected 82 Chibok schoolgirls to Abuja

The 82 safeguarded Chibok schoolgirls have arrived Abuja to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari in the Presidential Villa, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports. Mr Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, who affirmed this improvement on his twitter handle, said the Chief of Staff to the President, Alhaji Abba Kyari got the young ladies at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.


The young ladies, who recovered their opportunity on Saturday from Boko Haram bondage, would meet President Buhari at around 4.00p.m today.

The 82 young ladies were discharged to worldwide mediators who have been working in a joint effort with the Federal government for their protected return since they were captured in April 2014. 

Malam Garba Shehu, a presidential representative on Saturday in an announcement issued in Abuja likewise affirmed that the young ladies were discharged by their captors in return for some Boko Haram suspects held by the Federal Government.
