New FIGC head Roberto Fabbricini isn’t sure Luigi Di Biagio will lead Italy in the March friendlies – “it’s premature to say”.
The Azzurri are still without a CT following Giampiero Ventura’s sacking and face Argentina in England next month.
It had been assumed that Under-21 Coach Di Biagio would be on the bench for those fixtures, but the commissioner of the FIGC says that’s not necessarily the case.
“It’s premature to say now,” Fabbricini said at the Press conference after his appointment was confirmed.
“We haven’t talked to anyone yet, but we’ll find a solution and [Alessandro] Costacurta will help.”
