The US equity division has prosecuted 12 Russian insight officers for hacking the Democratic National Committee in the 2016 decision.
Representative Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said the dozen denounced utilized lance phishing messages and malignant programming in the digital assaults.
Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s request is investigating affirmed Russia interfering in the 2016 race.
The examination has just arraigned 20 people and three organizations.
The arraignment says the named Russian insight officers started their digital assaults in March 2016 to hack the email records of volunteers and workers of Hillary Clinton’s presidential battle.
Mr. Rosenstein said the respondents compared with a few Americans amid the claimed scheme, however, included there is no assertion that any US subject carried out a wrongdoing.
The delegate lawyer general said the respondents worked for two units of the Russian insight benefit, the GRU.

Mr. Rosenstein said the plotters made invented online personas, including “DCLeaks” and “Guccifer 2.0”.

The representative lawyer general said he had advised President Donald Trump about the arraignments prior to the week.
